As CEO of Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, Amit Kleinberger espouses the philosophy that Menchie’s is selling happiness, manifested in a fun and welcoming atmosphere with a great customer service experience. This philosophy is very much in line with the marketing philosophies of Coca Cola and McDonald’s.
In terms of the store design and layout, Menchie’s uses a curved layout for the frozen yogurt machines to increase the ability of the store employees to interact with the customers to answer questions and help out as needed. This curved layout is more expensive, so it is important to determine if the additional expense will be returned in the form of additional revenue and profit.
